The Warwick Valley Prevention Coalition (WVPC)…

…was initiated in 2009 by the joint efforts of the Warwick Valley Community Center and the Warwick Valley School District.  The Coalition was formed to help Warwick youth, families and community members understand how substance abuse develops and to take an active role in preventing substance use disorders.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED IN 2021

1. National Drug Take Back Day in April 1051bs collected

2. HS SADD Club Escape The Vape Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser – 40 teams, $225 Raised

3. Free Narcan Trainings for the community

4. Multiple PSA’s Created

5. Red Ribbon Week Campaigns w/ the schools

6. Virtual Hidden Mischief Training

7. National Night out with Warwick PD

8. Trunk or Treat Event- Raising $3,000 for the school clubs & coalition
