We have a lot of new resources to share!

YouTube Video Series
We're very excited to announce that the Partnership is launching a 26-video series with the help of YouTube. The original videos spotlight messages of hope and point to credible information and resources for the millions of families struggling with substance use and addiction. Learn more>

In this initial video, watch as Heidi, a peer parent coach at the Partnership, describes how her efforts to take care of herself made her a better problem-solver and a positive example for her daughter in how to manage stress and anxiety.

New Risk Assessment Tool

Whenever a child presents new behavior, especially if it seems unusual or out of character, parents take notice. This happens throughout life, but we know that parents are on highest alert when their kids start being exposed to — or even start experimenting with — drugs and alcohol.

To help parents get better answers to their questions about their children’s behavior at this critical time, Partnership to End Addiction has created a risk assessment tool. The tool helps parents identify factors such as school connectedness, mental health, risk-taking, impulsivity, and others that could lead to increased risk for developing addiction or substance use disorder.

Everyone who completes the assessment receives a report highlighting their child's risk factors along with resources that they can use to mitigate those potential risks.

Take the assessment
You can add the Risk Assessment Tool directly to your website!

Add the following code where you would like the risk assessment tool to appear on your website:

name="riskQuizIframe" scrolling="yes" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" allowfullscreen=""
width="100%" height="1500px" frameborder="0">
</iframe>
</div>

To adjust the height and width of the iframe, change the value of height and width properties in the iframe code (heighted in yellow) width="100%" height="1500px" .

To adjust the border, change value of the border property in the iframe code (heighted in yellow):  "border: 0 none;".

To turn off the iframe scrolling, set the value of the scrolling property (heighted in yellow) to no:   scrolling="yes"
Heart of the Matter - Season Two

Our podcast interview series, hosted by journalist Elizabeth Vargas, gives guests the opportunity to share their personal, candid stories about addiction. It offers a space to open up about substance use and mental health, to share the ways in which people are shifting their narrative – in their own relationships and across communities – to support the cause of ending addiction in our country.

New episodes feature Danny Strong and Beth Macy from the Hulu series Dopesick; and Michelle Lipinski, principal of Northshore Recovery High School, which was the subject of the MTV documentary series 16 and Recovering.

New episodes are released every other Tuesday and available here or wherever you get your podcasts.

Bilingual Helpline Supervisor Search

Our helpline provides personalized support through phone and digital channels to parents and caregivers of individuals struggling with addiction, and we are looking to significantly expand our capacity to support Spanish speakers. More information on the position can be found here. We are grateful for any assistance you can provide in helping us find the right candidate!
